A 20″ notched blade built for the Kwik-Till HSD Series, mounting on its own 4-bolt hub instead of sliding onto a shared gang shaft. The notched edge is cut for higher working speed and heavy residue, not for flute-based soil fracturing. Ingersoll-manufactured. Cross-references to Norwood #90-34-0002 and John Deere #5NS90340002. 6.5mm gauge.

This one isn’t a flute-count blade like our Soil Razor or Wave lines — it’s a notched design, built specifically for the Kwik-Till HSD Series. The notches along the edge are cut to run at higher working speed and cut through heavy crop residue instead of pushing it down into the ground the way a smooth or lightly-worn edge tends to once residue builds up.

Mounting is different too. Most of our blades slide onto a shared shaft as part of a gang, secured by two end nuts. This one bolts to its own individual hub on a 4-bolt pattern — closer to a wheel hub than a gang-mounted blade — so it comes off and goes back on one blade at a time.

We distribute this one rather than cutting it to a Real Harrows spec — it’s a standard Ingersoll part, and Ingersoll’s machining and edge finish are about as good as this category gets. If you’re searching by dealer part number, it cross-references to Norwood #90-34-0002 and John Deere #5NS90340002.

Field Notes

Because this blade mounts on its own hub instead of a shared gang shaft, you can pull and replace a single blade without disturbing the rest of the row — no need to break down a full gang for one damaged blade.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a notched blade different from a fluted blade like your Soil Razor line?

A notched blade isn’t measured by flute count. The notches along the edge are cut for high-speed residue cutting, not for moving or fracturing soil the way a fluted blade’s flutes do. It’s built to run fast through heavy residue instead of hair-pinning it under the blade.

Does this blade mount the same way as your other blades?

No — this one bolts to its own 4-bolt hub, like a wheel hub, instead of sliding onto a shared gang shaft. You can pull and replace this blade on its own without taking the rest of the gang apart.

Is this an Ingersoll part or a Real Harrows custom-spec part?

It’s a standard Ingersoll part — we distribute it as-is rather than cutting it to our own spec. Ingersoll’s edge machining and finish are about as good as this category gets.

What are the dealer cross-reference numbers for this blade?

Norwood #90-34-0002 and John Deere #5NS90340002.
