This is our 25-Flute Soil Razor cut specifically for a 2″ round shaft — the fitment used on the John Deere 2660VT — rather than the 1 3/4″ round / 1 1/2″ square dual-fit hole on our other 25-Flute listings. If you’re not sure which center hole your machine takes, that’s the detail that matters most here.
Same Soil Razor mechanism as the rest of the line: a self-sharpening beveled edge, and a flute that runs straight from the outside edge to the center rather than wrapping like our Wave blades. At 25 flutes, it’s built for better penetration in hard or clay ground, with each flute moving less dirt per pass than a lower flute-count blade would.
At 6.6mm, the gauge is slightly heavier than the 6.5mm used across most of our Soil Razor line — still in the same range, built for operations running rocks or a heavier machine.
Field Notes
On a 22″ blade, start measuring once it’s been in the ground a season. Replace once it wears down to about 20 1/2″ — you’re losing flute size along with diameter.
In stock and ships fast from our Wisconsin warehouse — less time waiting on parts, more time in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this blade different from your other 22″ Soil Razor 25-Flute listing?
The center hole. This one is cut for a 2″ round shaft — the fitment used on the John Deere 2660VT. Our other 25-Flute listing has a dual-fit hole for a 1 3/4″ round or 1 1/2″ square shaft. Same flute count and mechanism either way.
Does this blade fit my John Deere 2660VT?
Yes — it cross-references to JD Part #KK89792.
Is 25 flutes the right choice for my soil, or should I look at a different flute count?
25 flutes runs more flutes than our lower-count blades, built for hard or clay-heavy ground. If your soil is normal to lighter, a lower flute-count blade will move more dirt with less resistance.
