This is the 22″ version of our Soil Razor 25-Flute blade — same self-sharpening beveled edge and straight-flute cut as our 20″ version (CL6010), sized up for machines running a 22″ blade.
The edge is beveled and self-sharpening, and the flute runs straight from the outside edge to the center — unlike our Wave blades, which are directional and have to go on the machine a specific way. At 25 flutes, it runs more flutes than our 22-Flute Wave blade, which means better penetration in hard or clay ground, with each flute moving less dirt per pass.
The center hole is cut to Real Harrows spec: it works on both a 1 3/4″ round shaft and a 1 1/2″ square shaft, so one blade fits gangs that other suppliers would need two separate part numbers for. If you’re searching by dealer part number, this cross-references to Kuhn part #Q8014420, Kuhn-Krause part #30-257, and McFarlane part #10597.
Field Notes
On a 22″ blade, start measuring once it’s been in the ground a season. Replace once it wears down to about 20 1/2″ — you’re losing flute size along with diameter.
In stock and ships fast from our Wisconsin warehouse — less time waiting on parts, more time in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this blade fit my machine if I have a square shaft, or does it only work on round?
Both — this blade’s center hole is cut for a 1 3/4″ round shaft and a 1 1/2″ square shaft. Same blade fits either setup.
How does this 25-flute blade compare to your 28-flute Soil Razor?
Our 28-Flute Soil Razor runs more flutes than this one, so it penetrates harder, clay-heavy ground a bit better, with each flute moving slightly less dirt per pass. This 25-Flute blade sits between our 22-Flute Wave and the 28-Flute in flute count.
How do I know when to replace this blade?
Measure the diameter with a tape measure. On a 22″ blade, replace it once it’s down to about 20 1/2″. Past that point you’re also losing flute size, not just diameter.
Can I sharpen this blade myself when it dulls?
We don’t recommend it. Sharpening a full gang means spinning it against a grinder while it’s still assembled, and it’s genuinely dangerous — plus it won’t restore the flute size that’s already worn away. Replace, don’t sharpen.
